As you may have gathered from these pages, we have a wide variety of interests:
We both enjoy the outdoors, and we have built up a shell collection over many years. All of the pictures on this site have been scanned in from our own collection.
John has always been interested in locating forgotten historical sites around the state. Some of the information which he has unearthed about the Mt Wellington Hobart recreational hut sites is presented here.
Digital, pinhole and toy camera photography with an unusual twist. All photos were taken by John, and feature Tasmanian subjects.
Go to our links page for more sites designed and maintained by us - desktop wallpaper, fractal images and more. Also there is a link to the Taiko Drum site - Maria is a keen taiko drummer.
We also present on this site some items from Maria's parents: memories and items from their early years in the Netherlands.
If you are in Hobart, and would like to visit us and have a cuppa and discuss our interests, contact us.
